Gorman Ridge Rally 2008

I spent today in the back of a truck with my friend Rem and Dick Moser doing stage closing for the Gorman Ridge Rally 2008. I wish I had taken more pics but when we were moving the truck was bouncing around so much it was difficult not throwing up sometimes. Here is a shot from the truck, as we are waiting for the start of the stage.

The second pic of at the second to last night stages. What is shown in this blured photo, is the staging lights a Subaru and a full moon.

This is a shot of the blender used to make margaritas after the rally. It is powered by a 2 Stroke motor. And many people got very drunk on its nector.

Unfortunately, I did not get a shot of the car that rolled on one of the stages, and we were able to roll the car back on it's wheels, and ultimately, finish the rally. I was so in the moment, getting this car out of the way and the drivers back in the car and moving, I totally spaced taking a picture.

Finally, a self shot of me, after a restroom break, waiting for the cars to roll off. Rem thinks it is time to bring back 80's metal, and I agree.
