Experience The World From Your Club Chair...

I got my foot operated on a couple weeks ago and its all healing fine and all that. The one on the left is the one that got fixed. Still not able to walk very well, but then that is what the cast is for and I'm not supposed to be walking anyway. Sheesh. It have given me a ton of time to do nothing but eat, sleep and play video games. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and the SoCom Confrontation Beta. All the weight I lost, about 15 pounds, is back...at least it feels like it. Laying around, unable to exercise isn't helping at all. I'm bored out of my head. Ranking up on COD4 has been just about all I get to do daily. I have been able to drive, which is nice so I can get out sometimes and do something as long as it doesn't involve a lot of walking.

Work is non-existent. SAG and AMPTP are still fighting I think. I can say with confidence that I probably won't work until next year. A little frightening and pretty much the shittiest thing I can think of. May 25 next year is when I move into Group 2 and will be able to work more regular. There is a chance of my getting a job on The Office or The Starter Wife, but I'm not holding my breath for either. I know the day will come when I am on a show, making my 100k a year and not ever looking back on this year. Or maybe I will, with more clarity than someone who didn't have this year I'm having. I know I'm not the only one, not by a long shot. 2008 has been a shitty year financially.

On a positive note for 2008. Jenny and I had our 2 year anniversary. We got a new restaurant across the street that we really like. I got my foot fixed that was bothering me for a long time. And I'm that much closer to moving up on the roster at the Union and getting to work all the time. My health and the health of my family is good. I have a new nephew, Michael Mason McAdams. I know and you don't need to say anything. His big sisters name is Mariah Michelle. It's a theme that I don't understand. Hopefully the holidays won't be too painful and we can move on to a new year with as little bloodshed as possible.
