I am now working for a lighting company loading trucks and going out on shows, which is a good thing. Problem is, I am responsible for all the stuff that goes on the truck and when something goes missing, I think about it to the point of not being able to sleep. I went out on a show last week, Wednesday and Thursday, and dropped the truck Thursday night at the shop and went home. The next morning, one of the other drivers opened the truck, and removed some gear for another show, which I knew was going to happen. That isn't the problem. The problem is, and the thing that is making me be awake right now, there is possibly something missing from the truck and I don't know if it was removed by accident, or if it is something I missed on location. It's driving me nuts not knowing. I just got this job and I don't want something to come up missing and be embarrassed or worse, let go for it.
Hopefully, the thing I think is missing, isn't and all is well. But this is seriously driving me nuts. I remember loading them on the truck, or do I? That's the problem, at the end of a long day, it's sometimes hard to keep track of everything. Especially when it's coming at you fast because everyone wants to get home. I think I remember the part, but now I'm not so sure. Fuck.
Here is a painting...
