So F*ing Bored.

It's Monday. The weather is shitty, cold and a little windy. There were no waves this morning, so no surfing. There isn't anything on TV. Sitting here on the couch watching skate videos on Fuel Tv. Sometimes I feel like I could break a bone just watching what these guys do on skateboards. There was a time when I would have tried that stuff, but I'm too old and brittle now days. Sucks. If I could go back, I would probably still jump off all the stuff I did, but I might think it through a little more before I did it. 

I go back to work tomorrow. Another week of sitting around. I shouldn't complain except that it really is tough to get through the day, usually 14 hours, without loosing my mind. I read, watch a movie or two, sleep a little, do a little work here and there, read more...etc. This show is going on location later in the week so that will be nice. A little change goes a long way. We will be out in the desert and then downtown LA. At least there will be something new to look at. 

One of my friends called me last week to tell me about a show that we might get on out in Michigan. Six weeks out of town means a big fat paycheck. I might actually meet my goal for income this year if I can get a couple of those. Six weeks out of town works out to about $25k when it's all done, taxes, etc. I hope it happens, but I'm not counting on it. Hopefully the Screen Actors Guild will make a deal with the studios and we can all get on with working. It's been a long 6 month of little work since the Writers Guild strike.
